Friday, March 02, 2018 - Deputy uses Stop the Bleed training to save high school student's life
Sen. Jean-Paul Morrell shares the story of a Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office Deputy who saved the life of a local De La Salle High School of New Orleans student after a hit-and-run accident. The deputy relied on life-saving training he received through Stop the Bleed NOLA, a partnership between University Medical Center New Orleans, LSU, Tulane and the Spirit of Charity Foundation.
