Patient Meals

Dietary/Food Services

Food plays an extremely important part in your healthcare and recovery. Upon your doctor’s order, a registered dietitian will provide nutrition counseling. It is important that you follow a diet that is recommended to you by your doctor and dietitian. Please do not eat food prepared outside of the hospital unless approved by your doctor. The outside food could work against your treatment.

If you are scheduled for tests, your mealtimes may be changed. You will get your meal at the end of a test or at the next mealtime.

Inpatient meals begin at the following times:

Breakfast: 7 a.m.
Lunch: 11 a.m.
Dinner: 4 p.m.

We invite your visitors to eat in the UMC Cafeteria, located on the first floor of the Hospital.

Cafeteria Hours of Operation:

Monday - Friday: 6:30 a.m. - 10 a.m. and 11 a.m. - 6:30 p.m.
Saturday - Sunday: 6:30 a.m. - 10 a.m. and 11 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
