University Medical Center to Host First Community Health Fair March 24

Free health screenings, wellness education, and a chance to meet University Medical Center’s new Primary Care doctors are offered from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

NEW ORLEANS, LA – University Medical Center New Orleans is hosting a free community health fair Saturday, March 24, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the hospital’s main lobby on 2000 Canal Street. The health fair will include blood pressure checks, body mass analysis, nutrition education, pet therapy and more.

Attendees will also have the opportunity to meet and speak with University Medical Center’s new Primary Care physicians: Dr. Kendria Holt-Rogers and Dr. Alan Gatz.

The Community Health Fair is an extension of the University Medical Center’s mission to increase access to care throughout Orleans Parish. All members of the community and public are welcome to attend to learn more about their personal health and the new Primary Care Center at University Medical Center, which opened in January.

The first 100 people to register online will receive a University Medical Center wellness bag.
