Emergency Preparedness

In the event of a weather-related event, please utilize the resources below:

UMC Intranet – You can access the Intranet from work or home. If you are not already logged in to Office 365, click here to go to a login page. Use your system (@lcmchealth.org) username to log in.

Remote Access - Instructions to install VMware for remote access to EPIC & the LCMC Health network with link to this document

Project Empire – Click here for information and resources for Physicians & Mid-Level Providers. Use your system (@lcmchealth.org) username to log in to the SharePoint site.

LCMC Health U – Log in to the learning management system to complete assigned modules and self-enroll in classes and events

Safe Haven for Babies – UMC is a Safe Haven site for parents seeking to relinquish the care of a newborn. Click to learn more or download the Safe Haven Information Sheet for parents.

Patient Transfers – To request to transfer a patient to our facility, call 504.702.2412 or 504.702.2414.

Patient Direct Admissions – To request a patient Direct Admit, call our Admission Nurse Team at 504.702.2414 or 2412 and provide the patient’s demographic and clinical information. Our Admissions Team will facilitate an Admitting physician and assist in the admission process.

For unstable or critical patients, please call 911 or instruct them to present to the nearest Emergency Department.
