The Medical Executive Committee (MEC) is committed to Performance Improvement efforts to achieve greater efficiencies in patient throughput and key reductions in surgical site infections. The MEC also continues to support the active and constructive engagement of hospital and academic institutional leadership in ensuring a safe work space for students, residents and faculty physicians. Our success will remain defined by everyone's active engagement. We welcome and seek your input through your MEC representatives to ensure success in this endeavor.

Amion - Physician scheduling (login required)

Code Grey – Each school’s service area responsible for coverage during a Code Grey activation should provide the team for activation and recovery according to the Medical Staff requirements for Code Grey at University Medical Center. The following services will not be in-house during Code Grey: Urology, GI Vascular Surgery and ENT. Please update monthly during hurricane season with all information required.

LCMC Health Link – LCMC Health recommends that requests for referral or consultations as well as orders for lab and radiology are sent electronically through LCMC Health Link.

LCMC Health Learning Center – Log in to the new learning management system to complete assigned modules and self-enroll in classes and events.

Managed Care Plans Accepted at University Medical Center

Medical Staff Services – Medical Staff Services provides credentialing and other assistance for all credentialed members of the University Medical Center Medical Staff.
