Cancer Care in New Orleans

A comprehensive approach to cancer care

Accredited by the American College of Surgeons-Commission on Cancer (ACS-COC), the Cancer Center at University Medical Center offers patients a comprehensive approach to their cancer care. We offer the latest technologies for the early detection and prevention of cancer, as well as the most up-to-date treatment options based upon national treatment guidelines put forth by the National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN). We utilize a team approach to discuss a personalized treatment plan for each patient, developing a consensus of care through our scheduled conferences attended by all of our cancer physicians and specialists from medical, surgical and radiation oncology.

The Cancer Center provides patients with a single location for clinic visits, treatment planning, surgical needs, chemotherapy infusion, and radiation oncology services.
