Volunteer with UMC

Become a volunteer and make a difference

Thanks for your interest in volunteering at University Medical Center New Orleans. Our volunteers play a vital role in creating a supportive and comforting environment for patients and their families during their most challenging times. By "giving a little extra," you can make a lasting positive impact on the lives of those who need it most and contribute to the well-being of our community.

Our volunteers contribute to various departments throughout the hospital. While they may serve in clinical settings, volunteering does not include shadowing opportunities. If you're interested in shadowing a member of our healthcare team, please contact Clinical Education via email.
